$4.3M purse announced for 2020 KPMG Women's PGA Championship

$450K increase from 2019 is most for a 2020 LPGA Tour event



KPMG is proud to announce a $4.3M purse for the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a $450K increase from 2019 and the largest jump for a 2020 LPGA Tour event. Since taking over as title sponsor prior to the inaugural event in 2015, KPMG has increased the purse by $2.3M.

The announcement was made Friday, November 22, when LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan released the 2020 LPGA Tour schedule. The upcoming season will see LPGA Tour professionals competing for a total of $75.1M, the most in the history of the Tour. The Tour schedule features 33 events worldwide, starting with the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions on January 16, 2020.

The sixth annual KPMG Women's PGA Championship will be held at historic Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA, June 23-28, 2020.
